Axolotl

A man takes on a new job as concierge in an old building. Stuck in a small room, he is grieving. He discovers that behind the walls there is a secret system allowing to observe the inhabitants of the building. But is he really spying on the others?

Un uomo inizia un nuovo lavoro come portinaio in un vecchio edificio. Bloccato in una piccola stanza, è in lutto. Scopre che dietro le mura c'è un sistema segreto che consente di osservare gli abitanti dell'edificio.

Olivier Smolders was born in 1956 in Léopoldville, and has degrees in Romance Philology from UCL and lm/radio/television production from INSAS. He is the founder of Les lms du Scarabée, as well as being a producer, scriptwriter and lm director. In addition, he teaches at INSAS and ISV and is a lecturer at the University of Liège. Olivier Smolders is also a tightrope walker, sherman, dissident agnostic, author of essays on literature and cinema, and a member of the “amicale des zutistes” group.

Olivier Smolders è nato nel 1956 a Léopoldville e ha conseguito una laurea in lettere classiche presso la UCL e si è anche diplmato all'INSAS.
È il fondatore di Les films du Scarabée, oltre che ad svolgere un'attività di produttore, sceneggiatore e direttore della fotografia. Inoltre, insegna in INSAS e ISV ed è docente all'Università di Liegi. Olivier Smolders è anche un funambolo, sherman, agnostico dissidente, autore di saggi di letteratura e cinema e membro del gruppo "amicale des zutistes".
