COLLATERAL EVENTS

1) The first PITCHING FAITO DOC with the partnership of SABAM (Society of Belgian Authors and Composers) to highlight and promote authors and new talents. They will be able to present their film project before experts in the field: two script-doctors (Stefano Tealdi and Massimo Iannetta) and 2 producers (Amel Bouzid and Isabelle Rey).

2) the first LIVING LIBRARY with theatre director Elisa Frascà and the collaboration of the ‘Teatro Tocco’ Association of Parma: created in Denmark, ‘the living library‘ is a tool for promoting intercultural dialogue and combating all forms of discrimination. It works like a classic library only that the books are people in the flesh sharing their personal experience with a reader.

3) DOCS FOR KIDS : Mini-review of classic and animated short films for children and adults with a “childlike heart” chosen by Franco-Spanish director Milena Bochet to honour the theme of evasion.

4) FAITO GIOVANI coordinated by Bénédicte Rossetti and animated by Céline De Vos and Marianna Miozzo “Invisible evasions ” Workshop for young people aged 7 to 17.

6) NATURALISTIC AND ARTISTIC WALKS with teacher and naturalist Nando Fontanella, a performance by Carmen Ciampa ; accompaniment by clarinettist Emanuele Mammarella; and a performance by Marianna Miozzo : “Brevi luoghi mai accaduti #12”.

MEETINGS WITH AUTHORS AND DIRECTORS

The directors of the selected works are invited, at the organisation’s expense, to present their films to the public. Before and after the screenings, spectators have the opportunity to meet and talk with the authors, directors or producers of the work and also with some of the protagonists. This year the intention is to reach the presence of about :

25 guest directors/producers/protagonists to accompany their film or to participate in a professional meeting.
